Kaymak - cream product, 170g

 
Kaymak with 23% fat is a milk product made of 100% cow's milk. It's very popular in the Near and Middle East. After the milking, the milk is first heated, and the resulting top layer of cream is then skimmed off in several steps. It's actually layered cream and has been traditionally used as an accompaniment for desserts or as a bread spread. But it's also excellent for refining sauces.
