Braided cheese with 40 % fat i.d.m. is made following a traditional recipe in a two-step production process with complex handiwork and under the strictest quality requirements and then braided - which is why it's called braided cheese. This complex production process gives this cow's milk cheese its especially savoury and salty flavour.
GAZİ braided cheese is also available in the variety Yumak Örgü (finely cut braided cheese) in a 200 g piece.
