Our GAZİ Tulum Nomad's Cheese 50 % fat, made from sheep's milk, tastes as excellent as the original. Typical of this cheese is the friable texture, which makes it so special. In the past, when it was not possible to store food in refrigerators, cheese was preserved, salted and stored in goat or sheep skins. In many regions of Turkey, nomad's cheese is still made and preserved in this way.
You can also get the Tulum from cow's milk in decorative 440 g or 900 g cans in the shape of a small barrel.
