Grill cheese-vegetable shashlik with paprika and button squash

ingredients for 4 portions

  • 2 pkg. GAZİ grill and pan cheese
    1 red onion
    1 red bell pepper
    1 yellow bell pepper
    8 mini button squashes
    1 courgette
    1 small aubergine
    2 garlic cloves
    1 sprig thyme
    1 sprig rosemary
    4 tbsp. olive oil
    2 tbsp. sweet paprika powder
    1 tbsp. salt
    1 tbsp. kippled pepper
    1 tbsp. honey
    8 shashlik skewers
  • Preparation

    1. Cut the GAZİ grill cheese into 24 equal cubes. Pell off the onion, quarter it and split into separate skins. Clean the bell peppers, divide in half, remove the cores, wash and cut into equal pieces.

    2. Wash the mini button squashes, cut the stem and divide in half. Wash the courgette, clean and slice it. Wash the aubergine and cut into pieces. Pell off the garlic and cube finely.

    3. Wash the thyme and rosemary, pluck the leaves, chop it and stir it with olive oil, paprika powder, salt, pepper, honey and garlic in a big bowl. Add the GAZİ grill cheese and the vegetables and mix it all together.

    4. Alternate the GAZİ grill cheese and vegetables on the skewers. Roast the skewers on both sides in a coated pan over a moderate heat.
