2 large apples 2 large, firm pears 150 g blackberries Juice of 2 large oranges ½ tsp cinnamon 30 g brown sugar 30 g of pecans, roughly chopped 200 g GAZİ cream yoghurt Seeds from ½ a vanilla pod 1 tbsp icing sugar Grated peel of 1 organic orange
The fruit can be kept covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel and core apples and pears. Cut into eighths. Put the eighths in a large bowl and mix well with the blackberries, orange juice, cinnamon and brown sugar.
2. Spread the mixture in a uniform layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with the pecans and bake for 20 minutes until apples and pears are just soft when tested with a knife. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
3. Put the yoghurt, vanilla seeds, powdered sugar and orange peel in a bowl and stir until smooth. Serve the fruit salad warm with the vanilla yoghurt topping or let it cool to room temperature.
